This musical production of Shakespeare’s classic comedy was inspired by the Edwardian Era and the stately homes built by the nouveau riche in the late 1800s. It was not set in a specific place or a specific historical time, but rather in a world driven by character and situation. As such, the production leaned into useful historical anachronisms to make it feel fresh and modern.

With original music composed for the production by Matthew Capurro, this production proved that music is not only the food of love but also one of the ways that you express love in all its forms. With added songs for Feste, Viola, and even Malvolio, Shakespeare’s most musical play became even more musical.
